Pine Oak Furniture are based in Hertford, where they have their main store and warehouse. They have a good range of furniture available to order on the website, but the store itself is small. They appear to buy their furniture in from sources in the UK and Italy, and do not seem to manufacture themselves.
The main problem is not so much with their product quality as actually getting it too you intact and at the time that you require. They do not deliver themselves, but by courier, who do not deliver at weekends or in my experience even turn up when you expect them to.
When one of my oak pieces was delivered damaged (signed for unchecked)Pine-Oak first implied that I had done the damage myself! After a heated discussion about this, they agreed to replace it. However, to achieve this I then had to phone thier office al least seven or eight times. Exasperated I finally had to phone 4 times in one day and a re-delivery was finally sorted.
My advise - perhaps try and shop elsewhere first. If you can\'t, then manage them carefully and check your deliveries before you allow them to leave.
